Day Trip Terms

Terms and Conditions – Day Trips

For the benefit of all passengers’ health and safety, please read the following information.

Smoking – Is not permitted on any of our vehicles by law.

Dogs – Only Guide dogs and hearing dogs are allowed to travel on any of our Day Trips.

Alcohol – No alcohol is to be brought on board the coach.

Passenger Conduct - Passengers will not be allowed to board the coach if, in the driver’s view, their behaviour is likely to endanger the safety of other passengers.

Mobile Phones – Whilst we accept that mobile phones are a part of modern life, their use can be irritating to other passengers. We ask for your discretion and consideration for others in their use.

Refunds – If you cancel your booking more than 48 hours before departure, we will refund your money less any admission or ticket costs. All cancelled bookings are subject to a £2.00 per person administration fee.

Timekeeping – We will endeavour to keep to the pick up timetable we have set out but sometimes this can change unavoidably due to traffic conditions etc. However, we require passengers to be on time at the appointed pick up points and cannot accept any responsibility for any passengers who fail to do so. The trips are run as leisurely excursions and not schedule services, your driver will advise you as to the running timings for the day.

Cancellations – In the event of low numbers of bookings we reserve the right to cancel day trips. Every effort will be made to give as much notice as possible of the cancellation. It is therefore important that you provide up to date contact details.

Coaches - We reserve the right to allocate whatever size vehicle is best suited for the journey and the passengers booked. All seats are booked but these may have to change if the coach size is altered.

Entrance Fees – Entrance Fees are not included in the price of the trips unless it is clearly stated in the brochure that admission is included.

Wheelchairs - Unfortunately, we are unable to carry motorised wheelchairs or scooters of any kind. However, we are happy to carry lightweight fold-up wheelchairs in the luggage compartment at your own risk as Hardings will not accept any liability for damage that may occur as a result.

Complaints - If you have a complaint during your trip you should tell the driver/representative or supplier at the earliest opportunity so that they can do their utmost to resolve the problem immediately. If they are unable to resolve the problem to your satisfaction you should should write within 28 days to Selwyns Travel Ltd, The Old Hall, Cavendish Farm Road, Weston, Runcorn, WA7 4LT.
